Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Neonatal Care Support Technician to assist in the care of newborn infants, including those in neonatal intensive care units (NICU). In this role, you will support nurses and healthcare teams in monitoring and caring for infants.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in providing care to newborn and neonatal patients
Monitor vital signs and report changes
Support feeding, hygiene, and comfort of infants
Prepare and maintain neonatal care equipment
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with neonatal nurses and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with healthcare safety and hygiene standards
Assist in maintaining a clean and sterile environment
Support family education and communication
Ensure patient safety and comfort
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Nursing Assistance, or related field
0–2 years of experience in neonatal care or healthcare support roles
Basic knowledge of neonatal care practices
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a sensitive clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in NICU or pediatric care settings
Familiarity with neonatal monitoring equipment
Knowledge of infant care and safety practices
Certification in neonatal or patient care (preferred)
Understanding of infection control protocols
