Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Backend Optimization Engineer to enhance backend performance and scalability. In this role, you will analyze system performance, optimize code, and improve efficiency of backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze backend performance and identify bottlenecks
Optimize application code and database queries
Monitor system performance and implement improvements
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams
Maintain documentation of optimization processes
Support load testing and performance tuning
Ensure scalability and reliability of backend systems
Track performance metrics and generate reports
Assist in improving system architecture
Ensure compliance with coding and performance standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in backend development, performance tuning, or software engineering roles
Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or Node.js)
Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with performance tools (New Relic, Dynatrace)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Basic knowledge of caching systems (Redis, Memcached)
Understanding of microservices architecture
Exposure to load testing tools
