Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional to support surgical care operations as a Surgical Care Assistance Technician. In this role, you will assist surgical teams with pre-operative preparation, patient support, equipment readiness, and post-operative care coordination to ensure efficient surgical procedures and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and medical equipment for procedures

Assist surgical staff with patient preparation before, during, and after surgery

Maintain sterile environments and follow infection control protocols

Support surgeons, nurses, and healthcare teams during procedures

Monitor and restock surgical supplies and equipment

Ensure accurate documentation of surgical support activities

Transport patients safely to and from surgical units

Support compliance with healthcare safety standards and regulations

Assist in post-operative recovery support and patient care coordination

Contribute to efficient workflow and quality patient care services

Required Qualifications

Associate degree, certification, or relevant training in surgical technology, patient care, or healthcare support

1–3 years of experience in surgical assistance, patient care, or hospital support roles

Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and healthcare safety protocols

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical environments

Detail-oriented with strong patient care focus

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or related healthcare certification

Experience with surgical equipment and operating room protocols

Familiarity with patient monitoring and recovery support

Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and OSHA

Basic understanding of electronic medical record systems
