Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Systems Support Engineer to join our partner organization in Overland Park, Kansas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, ensuring system reliability, and providing advanced technical support across infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems and infrastructure
Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for complex issues
Install, configure, and manage servers, operating systems, and applications
Support system upgrades, patches, and performance optimization
Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations
Collaborate with network, development, and security teams
Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3–5 years of experience in systems support or infrastructure roles
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Understanding of networking concepts and system security
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified, CompTIA Server+, or similar
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
