Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our partner organization in Mobile, Alabama. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, and supporting patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications
Maintain accurate medication records and inventory management
Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
Educate patients on proper medication use under pharmacist supervision
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care
Assist with quality assurance and reporting tasks
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or pharmacy certification preferred
1–3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a clinical setting
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and pharmaceutical terminology
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent certification
Experience with pharmacy management software and EHR systems
Familiarity with hospital or retail pharmacy operations
