Job Title: EEG Technician

Location: Toledo, Ohio, USA

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate EEG Technician to join our partner organization. In this role, you will perform electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing neurological conditions. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in neurodiagnostics and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct EEG tests to monitor and record brain electrical activity
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort
Apply electrodes and ensure proper placement for accurate readings
Monitor patients during EEG procedures and identify irregular patterns
Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment to ensure optimal performance
Document test results and assist physicians with data interpretation
Follow safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
Collaborate with neurologists and healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology or related field (or equivalent training)
Certification as an EEG Technician (or eligibility to obtain certification)
1–3 years of experience in EEG or neurodiagnostic procedures (preferred for some roles)
Knowledge of neurological terminology and procedures
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) certification
Experience with advanced neurodiagnostic equipment
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
Ability to work in hospital or clinical environments
