Job Title: Oncology Nurse (RN)

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Nurse (RN) to join our partner organization. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, monitor their health, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe and effective treatment plans. This position is ideal for registered nurses with experience in oncology or chemotherapy administration.
Key Responsibilities
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments under physician orders
Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during treatment
Assess and document patient responses, side effects, and progress
Educate patients and families on cancer care, treatment plans, and symptom management
Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with safety and regulatory standards
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families
Respond to emergencies and adverse reactions promptly
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
1–3 years of experience in oncology, chemotherapy, or specialized nursing care
Knowledge of oncology procedures, treatments, and patient monitoring
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications
Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) or equivalent
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Familiarity with patient education and counseling in cancer care
Ability to manage multiple patients and complex treatment plans efficiently
