Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Radiology Scheduling Coordinator to join our partner organization. In this role, you will manage patient appointments for radiology procedures, communicate with patients and healthcare providers, and ensure smooth scheduling operations. Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate radiology appointments for patients
Communicate with patients, physicians, and clinical staff regarding scheduling needs
Maintain accurate records of patient appointments and confirmations
Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes
Ensure adherence to departmental policies, protocols, and privacy regulations
Handle scheduling conflicts and rescheduling requests efficiently
Collaborate with radiology and administrative teams to optimize workflow
Provide excellent customer service and patient support
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
1–3 years of experience in medical scheduling, patient coordination, or healthcare administration
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Familiarity with medical terminology and radiology procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software
Knowledge of insurance verification and pre-authorization processes
