Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Rehabilitation Technician to join our partner organization. In this role, you will assist patients with rehabilitation exercises, support therapists, and ensure safe and effective therapy sessions. This position is ideal for individuals interested in physical therapy, patient care, and rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with prescribed rehabilitation exercises and activities
Support physical and occupational therapists during therapy sessions
Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment
Monitor patient progress and report observations to therapists
Ensure patient safety and follow proper infection control protocols
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Provide encouragement and motivation to patients during therapy
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to optimize patient care
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
1–3 years of experience in rehabilitation, physical therapy, or patient care
Knowledge of basic therapeutic exercises and techniques
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with patients of varying abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a Rehabilitation Technician or related credential
Experience in outpatient or inpatient therapy settings
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Ability to assist with multiple patients and therapy activities simultaneously
