Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Configuration Analyst to join our partner organization. In this role, you will assist in configuring software applications, supporting system deployments, and ensuring accurate setup and functionality of enterprise software. This position is ideal for early-career professionals interested in software configuration and IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in configuring and deploying software applications according to specifications
Support software versioning, setup, and change management processes
Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure proper system functionality
Monitor and troubleshoot configuration issues and assist in problem resolution
Maintain documentation for software configurations, procedures, and updates
Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities
Ensure compliance with IT policies and software standards
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software configuration, IT support, or related roles (internships/projects count)
Basic understanding of software deployment and configuration processes
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise applications or SaaS platforms
Knowledge of software testing, validation, or QA processes
Familiarity with IT change management and documentation standards
Exposure to scripting or automation for configuration tasks
