Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse (RN) to join our partner healthcare organization in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will support patients recovering from cardiac events and procedures by providing education, monitoring, and personalized rehabilitation care. This position is ideal for nurses passionate about cardiac health, patient education, and long-term wellness.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized cardiac rehabilitation care plans
Monitor patients during exercise sessions and assess cardiovascular response
Educate patients on heart-healthy lifestyle changes, including diet, exercise, and medication adherence
Collaborate with cardiologists, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
Track patient progress and adjust rehabilitation plans accordingly
Monitor vital signs and recognize signs of cardiac distress
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or eligibility to obtain
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in cardiac care, rehabilitation, or critical care nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work in a collaborative healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Cardiac Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN)
Experience working in cardiac rehab or telemetry units
Familiarity with stress testing and cardiac monitoring equipment
Knowledge of cardiovascular disease management and prevention
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
