Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and security-focused IT Identity and Access Analyst to join our partner organization. In this role, you will support identity and access management (IAM) processes, ensuring that users have appropriate access to systems, applications, and data. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about cybersecurity, compliance, and protecting organizational assets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage user identities, roles, and access permissions across systems and applications
Provision and deprovision user accounts in accordance with company policies
Monitor access controls and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
Assist in conducting access reviews, audits, and certifications
Investigate and resolve access-related issues and security incidents
Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to define access requirements
Maintain IAM documentation, policies, and procedures
Support implementation and maintenance of IAM tools and systems
Track and report on access management metrics and compliance status
Stay updated with IAM best practices and emerging security threats
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
0–2 years of experience in IT security, identity and access management, or system administration
Basic understanding of IAM concepts (authentication, authorization, RBAC, MFA)
Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP)
Knowledge of operating systems and enterprise applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with IAM tools (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD)
Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOX)
Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Experience supporting audits or compliance initiatives
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
