Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Network Performance Analyst to join our partner organization. In this role, you will monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance to ensure reliability, speed, and scalability of enterprise systems. You will collaborate with network engineers, IT teams, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and support business-critical operations. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about networking, performance optimization, and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze network performance metrics across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments
Identify network bottlenecks, outages, and performance issues
Collaborate with network and IT teams to implement improvements and optimizations
Support capacity planning and performance forecasting for network infrastructure
Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports
Participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis
Assist in testing network changes, upgrades, and new deployments
Ensure network performance aligns with SLAs and business requirements
Stay updated with networking technologies and performance best practices
Maintain documentation of network topology, performance metrics, and troubleshooting procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in network analysis, IT operations, or systems support
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching)
Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and proactive troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)
Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Understanding of network security principles and firewalls
Familiarity with scripting or automation for network tasks (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Exposure to network design, configuration, or optimization projects
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
