Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Clinical Nutrition Assistant to support dietary services and patient nutrition programs. In this role, you will assist in meal planning, monitor patient dietary needs, and collaborate with dietitians to ensure optimal nutritional care. This position is ideal for individuals interested in healthcare nutrition, patient care, and dietary management.

Key Responsibilities
Assist dietitians in developing and implementing patient meal plans
Monitor patient dietary requirements and restrictions
Record and maintain accurate nutrition and meal data
Educate patients on basic dietary guidelines and nutrition plans
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure proper meal preparation
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Support patient assessments and nutrition screenings
Maintain inventory of dietary supplies and food items
Address patient concerns related to meals and nutrition
Assist in improving dietary service processes
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate/Bachelor’s in Nutrition preferred)
0–2 years of experience in healthcare, dietary services, or food service
Basic knowledge of nutrition and dietary practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and documentation abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Attention to detail and patient-focused approach
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in nutrition or dietary assistance
Experience in hospital or clinical nutrition settings
Familiarity with dietary management systems
Knowledge of special diets (diabetic, cardiac, renal, etc.)
Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
