Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clinical Laboratory Coordinator to join our partner healthcare facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee daily laboratory operations, coordinate workflow, and ensure accurate and timely processing of clinical tests. This position is ideal for professionals interested in laboratory management, quality assurance, and healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily activities within the clinical laboratory
Ensure proper handling, processing, and testing of specimens
Monitor lab workflow, turnaround times, and performance metrics
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Assist in quality control, audits, and accreditation processes
Collaborate with lab technicians, pathologists, and healthcare staff
Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance
Document procedures, reports, and operational updates
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or healthcare setting
Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in laboratory coordination or supervisory support roles
Familiarity with lab information systems (LIS)
Knowledge of regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, etc.)
Certification such as MLT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP)
Ability to improve lab workflows and documentation
