Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Neurodiagnostic Technician to perform diagnostic tests that evaluate brain and nervous system function. In this role, you will conduct procedures such as EEGs and other neurodiagnostic studies, ensuring accurate data collection to support clinical diagnosis and treatment. This position is ideal for individuals interested in neurology, diagnostic technology, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform neurodiagnostic tests such as EEG, EMG, and evoked potentials
Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing processes
Monitor patient activity and record accurate test data
Ensure proper functioning and calibration of diagnostic equipment
Identify abnormalities and report findings to physicians
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
Follow safety protocols and infection control standards
Collaborate with neurologists and healthcare teams
Assist in long-term monitoring and sleep studies if required
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
Required Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Neurodiagnostics, Healthcare Technology, or related field
2–4 years of experience in neurodiagnostic testing or clinical settings
Strong knowledge of EEG and other neurodiagnostic procedures
Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care practices
Certification such as R. EEG T. (Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist) preferred
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Good communication and patient interaction abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hospital or neurological clinic settings
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
Knowledge of advanced neurodiagnostic techniques
Certification in additional neurodiagnostic specialties
Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
