Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and responsive Emergency Care Technician to support emergency medical teams in delivering urgent patient care. In this role, you will assist with patient stabilization, perform basic clinical procedures, and ensure efficient emergency department operations. This position is ideal for individuals interested in emergency medicine, trauma care, and fast-paced healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in providing emergency medical care to patients
Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare staff
Support patient stabilization and transport within the facility
Assist with clinical procedures and treatments
Prepare and maintain emergency equipment and supplies
Document patient information and care activities accurately
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and emergency teams
Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
Respond quickly to emergency situations and patient needs
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of emergency areas
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in emergency care or clinical support roles
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Knowledge of emergency procedures and patient care practices
Strong ability to work in high-pressure environments
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and quick decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications
EMT certification or equivalent clinical certification
Experience in hospital emergency departments or urgent care settings
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
Advanced certifications such as ACLS (preferred)
Strong patient care and problem-solving skills
