Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Environment Support Engineer to support development and testing environments. In this role, you will manage system configurations, troubleshoot environment issues, and ensure smooth operations for development teams. This position is ideal for individuals interested in software support, DevOps, and environment management.

Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain development, testing, and staging environments
Troubleshoot environment-related issues and resolve system errors
Assist in configuration management and environment setup
Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams
Monitor system performance and ensure environment stability
Maintain documentation of configurations and processes
Support deployment and release activities
Ensure adherence to security and operational standards
Assist in automation of environment setup and management
Track issues and provide timely resolutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in IT support, software environments, or DevOps
Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows)
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Exposure to scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
Knowledge of configuration management tools
Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
