Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Occupational Therapy Rehab Technician to support occupational therapists in delivering rehabilitation services. In this role, you will assist patients with therapy activities aimed at improving daily living skills and functional independence. This position is ideal for individuals interested in occupational therapy, rehabilitation, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans
Support patients in performing therapeutic activities and exercises
Monitor patient progress and report updates to therapists
Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
Ensure safety and cleanliness of therapy environments
Educate patients on exercises and daily living techniques
Document patient activities and therapy sessions accurately
Assist in scheduling and coordinating therapy sessions
Follow safety and healthcare protocols
Provide encouragement and support to patients during rehabilitation
Required Qualifications
Associate degree or certification in Occupational Therapy Assisting or related field
1–3 years of experience in rehabilitation or healthcare support roles
Basic knowledge of occupational therapy practices and techniques
Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
Ability to follow treatment plans and instructions accurately
Good organizational and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
CPR/BLS certification
Knowledge of adaptive equipment and rehabilitation techniques
Strong teamwork and patient engagement skills
