Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Post-Surgical Nurse (RN) to provide care for patients recovering from surgical procedures. In this role, you will monitor patient recovery, manage pain, prevent complications, and ensure a safe and smooth healing process.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to post-surgical patients
Monitor vital signs and assess patient recovery progress
Administer medications, including pain management treatments
Identify and respond to post-operative complications
Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on post-surgical care and recovery
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety protocols
Assist in discharge planning and follow-up care instructions
Support infection prevention and wound care management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
2–4 years of experience in post-surgical care, med-surg, or hospital nursing
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
Knowledge of post-operative care and recovery protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in surgical units or recovery rooms (PACU)
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and patient management skills
