Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Application Support Engineer to support enterprise applications and ensure smooth system performance. In this role, you will troubleshoot issues, monitor applications, and collaborate with technical teams to maintain system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level support for business-critical applications
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot technical issues
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents
Assist in application deployments, updates, and maintenance
Document issues, resolutions, and system processes
Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues
Support system testing and validation processes
Maintain logs and track incidents using ticketing systems
Assist in improving application performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in application support or IT support roles
Basic understanding of software applications and troubleshooting
Familiarity with databases (SQL) and operating systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Understanding of ITIL processes
Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, etc.)
Familiarity with monitoring tools and log analysis
