Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to support and maintain core IT systems and infrastructure. In this role, you will monitor systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the stability and performance of networks, servers, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
Provide technical support for infrastructure incidents and service requests
Assist in system installations, upgrades, and patch management
Ensure system security, backups, and disaster recovery processes
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
Maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations and procedures
Monitor system performance and implement improvements
Support cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments
Ensure adherence to IT policies, standards, and SLAs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
2–4 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or similar roles
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP)
Experience with Windows/Linux servers and system administration
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of monitoring and ticketing tools
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
Experience with automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python)
