Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Laboratory Specimen Processor to support laboratory operations and specimen handling processes. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, labeling, and preparing specimens for testing while ensuring accuracy and compliance with lab standards.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, label, and process laboratory specimens
Verify specimen information and ensure proper documentation
Prepare samples for testing and analysis
Maintain specimen tracking and storage systems
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards
Identify and resolve discrepancies in specimen data
Collaborate with lab staff and healthcare teams
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Follow proper handling and transportation procedures
Support efficient workflow in laboratory operations

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
0–1 years of experience in laboratory or healthcare support roles
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols
Good organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in clinical or diagnostic laboratories
Familiarity with lab information systems (LIS)
Knowledge of specimen handling and processing standards
Understanding of quality control procedures
Exposure to healthcare or laboratory environments
