Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Registration Specialist to support patient intake and registration operations. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting patient information, verifying insurance details, and ensuring accurate data entry.
Key Responsibilities
Register patients and collect demographic and insurance information
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations
Handle patient inquiries and provide assistance
Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR)
Resolve discrepancies in patient information
Collaborate with healthcare and administrative teams
Support front desk and administrative operations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
0–2 years of experience in patient registration or healthcare administrative roles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of insurance verification processes
Good communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with EHR or patient management systems
Familiarity with medical billing and insurance workflows
Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA)
Experience in hospital or clinic front desk operations
