Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and attentive Cardiac Monitoring Assistant to support cardiac care teams by monitoring patient heart activity. In this role, you will observe cardiac rhythms, report abnormalities, and assist in ensuring patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
Identify and report irregular heart patterns
Maintain accurate patient monitoring records
Assist healthcare teams in patient observation
Ensure proper functioning of monitoring equipment
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with nurses and physicians
Maintain documentation of monitoring activities
Follow healthcare safety and compliance protocols
Support overall cardiac care operations
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related field
0–2 years of experience in cardiac monitoring or healthcare support roles
Basic knowledge of cardiac rhythms and telemetry systems
Strong attention to detail and observation skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hospital or cardiac care units
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems
Knowledge of ECG interpretation basics
Understanding of patient monitoring procedures
Certification in cardiac monitoring (preferred)
