Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Software Tools Engineer to support the development and maintenance of internal tools and applications. In this role, you will assist in building tools that improve productivity, automate processes, and support engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain internal software tools and utilities
Assist in automation of workflows and processes
Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in tools and applications
Maintain documentation for tools and processes
Support integration of tools with existing systems
Monitor performance and optimize tool functionality
Participate in testing and validation of tools
Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software development or engineering roles
Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, or similar)
Basic understanding of software development concepts
Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting techniques
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with scripting and automation tools
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
Exposure to API development and integration
