Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology Care Coordinator to support patients undergoing cancer treatment. In this role, you will coordinate care plans, assist patients and families, and ensure seamless communication between healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate patient care plans and treatment schedules
Assist patients with appointments, referrals, and follow-ups
Communicate with physicians, nurses, and oncology teams
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Provide guidance and support to patients and families
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Track patient progress and update care plans
Assist in managing insurance and authorization processes
Support patient education on treatment and care options
Ensure continuity of care throughout treatment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
1–3 years of experience in oncology care or healthcare coordination roles
Strong understanding of patient care coordination processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a patient-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in oncology or cancer care settings
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA)
Experience with patient counseling or support services
Certification in healthcare coordination (preferred)
