Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Occupational Therapy Support Technician to assist therapists in delivering rehabilitation care. In this role, you will support therapy sessions, prepare equipment, and help patients improve daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist occupational therapists during therapy sessions
Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and work areas
Support patients with exercises and rehabilitation activities
Monitor patient progress and report observations
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions
Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
Assist in scheduling and patient coordination
Follow healthcare safety and rehabilitation protocols
Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient care
Support overall occupational therapy operations
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Occupational Therapy, or related field
0–2 years of experience in rehabilitation or healthcare support roles
Basic knowledge of occupational therapy practices
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in rehabilitation centers or clinics
Familiarity with therapy equipment and techniques
Knowledge of patient mobility and daily living exercises
Understanding of healthcare compliance and safety standards
Certification in occupational therapy assistance (preferred)
