Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Software Maintenance Analyst to support application maintenance and system performance. In this role, you will troubleshoot issues, implement fixes, and ensure smooth operation of software systems.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain software applications and systems
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and bugs
Collaborate with development and support teams
Implement updates, patches, and fixes
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
Support testing and validation of fixes
Ensure compliance with coding and operational standards
Track issues and maintain logs
Assist in continuous improvement of system reliability

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software maintenance, support, or IT roles
Basic understanding of software systems and troubleshooting
Familiarity with programming or scripting languages
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla)
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL)
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Exposure to DevOps practices
