Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and attentive Sleep Lab Monitoring Technician to monitor patients during sleep studies. In this role, you will record physiological data, ensure accurate testing, and support diagnosis of sleep disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor patients during sleep studies (polysomnography)
Record and analyze sleep patterns and vital signs
Set up and maintain sleep study equipment
Ensure accurate data collection and documentation
Collaborate with sleep specialists and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols
Educate patients on sleep study procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab areas
Respond to alerts and patient needs during studies
Support diagnostic and treatment processes
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Sleep Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in sleep labs or healthcare support roles
Basic knowledge of sleep studies and monitoring techniques
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work night shifts if required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in sleep labs or diagnostic centers
Certification such as RPSGT (preferred)
Familiarity with polysomnography equipment
Knowledge of respiratory and neurological monitoring
Understanding of patient safety protocols
