Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior API Developer to join our partner organization. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs, collaborating with backend and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performance applications. This position is ideal for early-career developers interested in software development and API technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services
Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate APIs into applications
Assist in building reusable API components and libraries
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
Ensure API performance, scalability, and security best practices
Maintain documentation for API endpoints, usage, and integration guides
Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement of API solutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software development or API projects (internships count)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
Knowledge of database integration (SQL or NoSQL)
