Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pediatric ICU Support Nurse (RN) to assist in providing critical care to pediatric patients. In this role, you will support ICU teams, monitor patient conditions, and help ensure the highest standards of care for children in critical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in ICU settings
Monitor vital signs and patient conditions closely
Assist in administering medications and treatments
Collaborate with physicians and ICU healthcare teams
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Support families with information and care guidance
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols
Maintain a safe and sterile clinical environment
Assist in critical care procedures and patient support

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
2–4 years of experience in pediatric ICU or critical care settings
Valid RN license to practice in Florida
Strong knowledge of pediatric and critical care procedures
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in high-pressure environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in pediatric ICU or neonatal ICU settings
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or PALS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
Commitment to patient-centered pediatric care
