Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Trauma Care Nurse (RN) to join our partner organization. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients experiencing acute trauma or critical conditions, collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure timely and effective treatment. This position is ideal for registered nurses with experience in emergency or trauma care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and monitor trauma patients, including vital signs and overall condition
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
Assist physicians in emergency procedures and life-saving interventions
Document patient care, assessments, and treatment plans accurately
Educate patients and families regarding care, procedures, and recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate trauma care
Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and hospital policies
Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
1–3 years of experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care nursing
Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and patient care skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively under high-pressure situations
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Trauma Nursing (TNCC) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Experience in ICU, ED, or trauma units
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple critical patients
