Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Clinical Intake Specialist to join our partner healthcare organization in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will manage patient intake processes, verify medical information, and coordinate initial steps of care. This position is ideal for individuals interested in healthcare administration, patient coordination, and clinical support services.

Key Responsibilities
Collect and verify patient information, medical history, and insurance details
Coordinate patient intake and onboarding processes
Schedule appointments and ensure proper documentation
Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies
Maintain accurate records in electronic health systems
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards
Assist in resolving intake-related issues and discrepancies
Support workflow efficiency and patient experience improvements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
0–2 years of experience in healthcare intake, administration, or support roles
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Familiarity with insurance verification and patient scheduling
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance
Certification in healthcare administration or medical office support
Ability to improve intake workflows and documentation processes
