Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Clinical Admissions Assistant to support patient intake and admissions processes. In this role, you will coordinate patient information, assist with documentation, and ensure a smooth admission experience while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with patient admissions, registrations, and intake procedures
Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely patient processing
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Respond to patient inquiries and provide administrative support
Schedule appointments and manage admissions workflows
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards (HIPAA)
Support billing and insurance verification processes
Maintain documentation of admissions procedures and updates
Provide a positive and professional patient experience
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
1–3 years of experience in healthcare administration or admissions roles
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Knowledge of insurance verification and billing procedures
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
Experience working in hospitals or clinical settings
