Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinical Triage Nurse (RN) to assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on urgency. In this role, you will evaluate symptoms, provide initial guidance, and ensure timely medical attention.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patient symptoms and determine urgency of care
Prioritize cases based on clinical severity
Provide initial medical guidance and instructions
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and standards
Communicate effectively with patients and families
Support patient intake and care coordination
Respond to emergency situations promptly
Maintain a safe and efficient triage environment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in triage, ER, or clinical nursing roles
Valid RN license to practice in Michigan
Strong knowledge of triage protocols and patient assessment
Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in emergency or triage nursing
Certifications such as BLS, ACLS
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
