Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Medical Records Compliance Auditor to review healthcare documentation and ensure regulatory compliance. In this role, you will audit patient records, identify discrepancies, and support quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Audit medical records for accuracy and compliance
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and standards
Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Maintain audit documentation and reports
Collaborate with healthcare and administrative teams
Support internal and external audit processes
Monitor compliance metrics and generate reports
Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information
Assist in developing compliance policies and procedures
Support continuous improvement of documentation practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
1–3 years of experience in medical records, auditing, or compliance roles
Strong knowledge of healthcare documentation standards
Basic understanding of regulatory requirements (HIPAA)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hospital or healthcare audit roles
Familiarity with EHR systems and documentation tools
Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes
Understanding of compliance frameworks and audits
Certification in healthcare compliance or auditing (preferred)
