Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and quick-thinking Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our partner organization in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will provide pre-hospital emergency care, respond to medical emergencies, and support patient stabilization and transport. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about emergency response, patient care, and working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide medical care on-site
Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate emergency interventions
Administer basic life support (BLS) and other pre-hospital emergency treatments
Transport patients safely to medical facilities while monitoring vital signs
Document patient care, treatment provided, and transport details accurately
Maintain and sanitize emergency medical equipment and vehicles
Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare providers, and patients
Follow established protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Current EMT certification in the state of Nevada
High school diploma or equivalent
0–3 years of experience in emergency medical services (EMS) or related healthcare fields
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced EMT (AEMT) or paramedic certification
Experience in ambulance services, fire department, or hospital EMS units
Familiarity with pre-hospital emergency protocols and procedures
Knowledge of medical terminology and patient assessment techniques
Ability to remain calm and focused in emergencies
