Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clinical Patient Scheduling Assistant to support appointment scheduling and patient coordination. In this role, you will manage schedules, coordinate with healthcare providers, and ensure efficient patient flow.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars
Coordinate with healthcare providers and departments
Verify patient information and appointment details
Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation
Handle appointment changes, cancellations, and follow-ups
Communicate with patients regarding schedules and instructions
Ensure compliance with healthcare policies and procedures
Assist in optimizing scheduling processes
Support patient intake and coordination activities
Maintain confidentiality of patient information

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
0–2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling or administrative roles
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Basic understanding of scheduling systems and processes
Good communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hospital or clinic scheduling roles
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA)
Understanding of patient flow and coordination
