Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Technician to join our partner organization in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will assist physical therapists in delivering therapy sessions, supporting patient exercises, and ensuring a safe and effective rehabilitation environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation support.

Key Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists in preparing patients for therapy sessions
Support patients with exercises, mobility, and rehabilitation activities under supervision
Monitor patient safety and provide guidance during therapy exercises
Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
Document patient progress and report observations to therapists
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
Provide encouragement and support to patients during therapy sessions
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling and record-keeping

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Physical Therapy Aide/Technician program or related coursework
0–2 years of experience in rehabilitation, physical therapy, or patient care (internships/clinical rotations count)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of licensed therapists
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in outpatient therapy, hospital, or rehabilitation settings
Knowledge of basic physical therapy techniques and modalities
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
CPR/BLS certification
Interest in pursuing further education or certification in physical therapy
