Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Radiology Support Technician to assist radiology departments in delivering efficient imaging services. In this role, you will support radiologic technologists, prepare patients for imaging procedures, and ensure equipment and work areas are properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing patients for radiology procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
Transport patients to and from imaging departments safely
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment
Support radiologic technologists during imaging procedures
Ensure proper patient identification and documentation
Monitor and restock supplies used in radiology departments
Follow safety protocols, including radiation safety guidelines
Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient interactions
Provide comfort and support to patients during procedures
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of experience in healthcare or radiology support roles
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and imaging procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Physical ability to assist with patient movement and transport
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a Radiology Technician Assistant or similar
Experience in hospitals or diagnostic imaging centers
Familiarity with radiology equipment and procedures
CPR/BLS certification
Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
