Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and vigilant Telemetry Monitoring Nurse (RN) to monitor and interpret patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs. In this role, you will ensure timely identification of abnormalities, support patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide effective cardiac care. This position is ideal for individuals interested in cardiac monitoring, acute care, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and vital signs
Identify arrhythmias and notify healthcare providers of abnormalities
Assess patient conditions and respond to critical changes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of monitoring data
Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams for patient care
Ensure proper functioning of telemetry equipment
Educate patients and families about monitoring procedures
Adhere to safety, infection control, and clinical protocols
Support emergency response and critical care interventions
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
2–4 years of experience in telemetry, cardiac, or critical care nursing
Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and monitoring systems
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Excellent clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Strong communication and patient care abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in telemetry or cardiac monitoring units
Certification such as Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN)
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
Knowledge of advanced cardiac life support protocols
Strong attention to detail and rapid decision-making skills
