Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our partner healthcare organization in Providence, Rhode Island. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery. This position is ideal for nurses committed to patient-centered care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, monitor, and document patients’ health status and vital signs
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical systems
Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly and effectively
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Rhode Island or eligibility to obtain
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
1–3 years of experience in clinical nursing, patient care, or hospital settings
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hospital, outpatient, or specialty care units
Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of clinical protocols, patient safety, and quality improvement practices
Ability to mentor junior staff or nursing students
