Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Environment Engineer to join our partner organization in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of software development and testing environments. This position is ideal for early-career professionals interested in DevOps, environment management, and software deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and maintain development, testing, and staging environments
Configure applications, databases, and supporting infrastructure
Assist in deployment processes and environment automation
Monitor environment performance and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams
Maintain documentation of environment configurations and processes
Support version control and release management activities
Ensure environment stability and availability
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in software support, DevOps, or IT environments (internships/projects count)
Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Windows)
Understanding of software deployment and environment setup
Familiarity with version control tools like Git
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with scripting (Bash, Python)
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
