Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Support Technician to join our partner organization in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ideal candidate will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems to ensure optimal performance and connectivity for end-users.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls
Troubleshoot network issues and provide Level 1/Level 2 support
Assist in network configuration, upgrades, and maintenance
Manage user accounts, permissions, and network access controls
Document network incidents, resolutions, and standard procedures
Collaborate with IT teams to implement network improvements
Ensure compliance with IT security standards and policies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
1–3 years of experience in network support or IT operations
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Juniper JNCIA
Experience with wireless networks, VPNs, and network security practices
Familiarity with cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure)
