Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Network Security Operations Analyst to support network security and incident response activities. In this role, you will monitor security events, analyze threats, and ensure the protection of network systems.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor network security systems and analyze alerts
Identify and respond to security incidents and threats
Assist in vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
Maintain security logs and incident documentation
Collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve issues
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
Support firewall, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security systems
Conduct basic threat analysis and reporting
Assist in implementing security controls and improvements
Monitor system performance and security metrics

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in network security, SOC, or IT operations roles
Strong understanding of networking and security fundamentals
Basic knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security tools
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards
Basic knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure)
Understanding of incident response processes
Relevant certifications such as Security+ or CEH
