Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Cardiac Care Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. In this role, you will monitor heart health, administer treatments, and support recovery for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about cardiac nursing, patient care, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to cardiac patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Assist in cardiac procedures and patient monitoring
Identify and respond to cardiac emergencies
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on heart health and recovery
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
Support discharge planning and patient follow-up care
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
2–4 years of experience in cardiac, telemetry, or critical care nursing
Strong knowledge of cardiac care and monitoring techniques
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Excellent clinical and critical-thinking skills
Strong communication and patient care abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cardiac care units (CCU) or telemetry units
Certification such as Cardiac Vascular Nursing (RN-BC)
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
Knowledge of advanced cardiac life support protocols
Strong teamwork and patient advocacy skills
