Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Burn Care Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care to patients with burn injuries. In this role, you will assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and support recovery through critical care and pain management. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about trauma care, wound management, and patient rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients with burn injuries
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress
Administer medications, IV fluids, and specialized wound care treatments
Assist in burn dressing changes and infection prevention
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and clinical standards
Monitor pain levels and provide appropriate pain management
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Support emergency and critical care procedures when required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
2–4 years of experience in critical care, trauma, or burn unit nursing
Strong knowledge of wound care and infection control practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Excellent clinical, analytical, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and patient care abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a dedicated burn unit or intensive care unit (ICU)
Certification such as Certified Burn Registered Nurse (CBRN)
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
Knowledge of advanced wound care techniques and rehabilitation
Strong teamwork and patient advocacy skills
