Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Data Center Operations Technician to support data center infrastructure and operations. In this role, you will monitor systems, maintain hardware, and ensure continuous uptime of critical IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor data center systems and infrastructure performance
Perform hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance
Troubleshoot server, network, and storage issues
Maintain data center documentation and logs
Support backup and recovery operations
Ensure compliance with data center security and safety standards
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues
Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades
Monitor environmental conditions (power, cooling, etc.)
Support overall data center efficiency and uptime

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1–3 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure roles
Strong understanding of servers, storage, and networking basics
Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data center monitoring tools
Familiarity with virtualization technologies
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Understanding of backup and disaster recovery processes
Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, or similar preferred)
