Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Backend Systems Engineer to support backend development and system operations. In this role, you will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing backend services and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
Assist in designing scalable and efficient system architecture
Troubleshoot and resolve backend and system issues
Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Support database integration and management
Monitor system performance and optimize applications
Maintain technical documentation and workflows
Assist in deployment and system updates
Ensure compliance with coding standards and security practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
0–2 years of experience in backend development or systems engineering roles
Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or Node.js)
Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Familiarity with APIs and system design concepts
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, Express)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to microservices architecture
